ARGO :  Argo 2000 | Argo 4000

ARGO 2000 – 2m3 Self Loading Mobile Concrete Mixer
  Output: 8m3/hr
  4 Wheel Drive
  Electronic Weigh Batching
  ARAI Certified

The smaller of the 2 self loaders, the Argo 2000 can achieve an output of 8m3/hr

The hydraulically operated bucket, drum and skip assist in smooth operation of the machine.

The electronic weigh batching system can weigh batch up to 8 different aggregates, with easy operation and display, via the on-board control panel. Water is controlled through an on-board water tank with volumetric pump and flow meter. This ensures a controlled and thus high quality mix of concrete.

The infinitely variable “automotive” type hydrostatic transmission which allows for easy and responsive operator control, ensures that there are no difficulties during the transfer, loading and unloading phases of the operation.
The Argo 2000 has a narrow width of 2050 mm and maximum height of 3425 mm, which make it ideally suited to work in restricted spaces.

The manoeuvrability of the machine is an added feature that makes it suitable for operation in restrained spaces.

The 4 wheel drive of the machine increases manoeuvrability of the Argo 2000. The front and rear wheels are able to move in opposite directions while at slow speeds assisting in its obtaining a decreased minimum outside turning radius of only 3.1 metres. The following 3 steering modes are possible in the Argo 2000:

          1.  Front wheel steering and rear wheel rigid:

          2.   4 wheel opposed steering for tight turning with minimum radius of 3.1m:

          3.
4 wheel unidirectional steering for side (crab) movement, for easy access to tight   corners

The 180o reversible driving post allows for the driver to have complete and unobstructed visibility at all times and in whichever direction he is moving.

The Argo 2000 is a fuel efficient machine, its’ engine consuming only 5 litres of diesel / hour.

The design of the Argo incorporates several features which focus on safe operation at all times. The vehicle’s self adjusting sealed oil bath disc brakes on all four wheels greatly reduce the risk of accidents at construction sites which often have unpredictable terrain, including rocks, dust, slush and sometimes even animals darting across.

Electro hydraulic controls positioned on the accelerator pedal and the shovel control prevent the machine from starting unintentionally and the loading arms from moving unintentionally, guaranteeing maximum safety when the operator is not on board.
