The rugged D90 Maxi, with its larger capacity of 12 Tons is designed for off highway use and is ideal dumper for large earthmoving jobs, especially in confined spaces on varying ground conditions.
While the capacity of the machine is 12 Tons, its dimensions are still compact enough for it to operate in tight conditions. The D 90 Maxi has a width of 2390 mm, maximum height (at driving post) of 3020 mm and length of 4807 mm.
The manoeuvrability of the machine is an added feature that makes it suitable for operation in restrained spaces.
The 4 wheel drive of the machine increases manoeuvrability of the dumper. The front and rear wheels are able to move in opposite directions while at slow speeds, assisting in its obtaining a decreased minimum outside turning radius of only 4.5 metres. The 180o reversible driving post enables the driver to always have clear line of sight vision, whichever direction he may be moving in, and when carrying out extreme manoeuvres, such as u-turns in limited spaces.

The skip of the dumper is built with reinforced steel, and is capable of carrying a load of up to 12 tons, while maintaining a speed of 25 km/hr
The infinitely variable ‘automotive’ type hydrostatic transmission with solenoid control senses torque requirement depending on road condition and rolling resistance. This is beneficial in the varying and sometimes unpredictable ground conditions at construction sites.
The disc type, oil immersed power brakes, allow for instant responsive braking in extreme conditions, whether dry or wet.
The capability of the dumper to climb an incline of 24o, when fully loaded, combined with its four wheel drive, highly simplifies manoeuvring and positioning the vehicle in troublesome spaces, while at the same time ensuring safety.
The oscillating front axle ensures stability and adherence to the terrain in all types of underfoot conditions.
Warning lights such as hydraulic filter clogged, indicators, fuel level, dipped head lights, engine coolant temperature, plug pre-heating & cold starting etc. enable the operator to work with confidence.
